White Cloud, KS — Nuweh, LLC proudly hosted the 1st Annual Boys & Girls Club Back to School Event, a celebration dedicated to supporting local students and families as they prepared for a successful school year. The event brought together community members, tribal leaders, and sponsors for an afternoon filled with excitement, generosity, and encouragement for the youth of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.

As part of Nuweh’s ongoing commitment to community development and youth empowerment, the company not only funded the entire event but also made a $1,500 donation to the Boys & Girls Club to support future programming and activities. Every child who attended received a gift card for a free pair of shoes donated by our corporate sponsors as well as an additional discount was provided by Shoe Carnival of St. Joseph. In addition, the student received a backpack filled with school essentials, ensuring they start the academic year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

The event was a collaborative effort between Nuweh, the Iowa Tribe Boys & Girls Club, and several community partners who shared in the mission of giving back. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal provided by Casino White Cloud, as well as refreshing Frosties from Wendy’s, bringing smiles to kids and parents alike. The day was filled with laughter, good food, and the uplifting energy that comes when a community unites around its youth.

“Our youth are the heart and future of our community, and Nuweh is founded on building a sustainable future for our citizens and members,” said Brad Campbell, CEO at Nuweh, LLC. “This event is about more than just school supplies—it’s about showing our kids that they are seen, valued, and supported. We want them to know that their tribe, their families, and their community are behind them every step of the way.”

The event also served as an opportunity for parents and community members to connect, celebrate, and reaffirm the shared goal of investing in future generations. Many volunteers from Nuweh, and its subsidiaries joined in to distribute supplies, serve meals, and engage with families throughout the afternoon. The overwhelming turnout reflected the community’s enthusiasm and the strong relationships that continue to grow between Nuweh, the Boys & Girls Club, and local partners.

Looking ahead, Nuweh, LLC is already planning the 2nd Annual Back to School Event, scheduled for 2026 (Date TBD). Building on the success of this year’s celebration, the company aims to expand the event to include even more activities, resources, and opportunities for local youth.

Nuweh, LLC remains committed to its mission of fostering economic growth and community well-being through culturally rooted initiatives. The company believes that supporting education and providing opportunities for children is one of the most powerful ways to invest in the future of the tribe.

With gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, and community members who made this event possible, Nuweh looks forward to continuing its tradition of giving back—and to seeing even more smiling faces at next year’s celebration.
